How to Apply

We are so excited you are interested in being a Boilermaker! Purdue's Office of Admissions is the go-to for the Purdue Application Process and handles admission for undergraduate students into the College of Engineering. Beginners start in the First-Year Engineering Program. This gives students time to explore all majors and get comfortable in fundamental coursework like math, science, and English, as well as introductory engineering classes.

Once First-Year Engineering Program requirements are completed, students move to the engineering major of their choice. For Fall of 2018, 94% of students go their first choice via the Transition to Major (T2M) process.

For detailed information about the Purdue University application process and admissions criteria, please visit the Purdue Office of Admissions' How to Apply page.

Transfer Students

Admissions criteria for engineering transfer students can be found on the Purdue Admissions website.

International Students

Admissions criteria for engineering international students can be found on the Purdue International Students and Scholars website.
