How To Prepare for College

High School Classes

High school is the time to prepare for the expectation of the college curriculum. How can you best prepare yourself to become a Purdue Engineer? Try to take as many math and science classes as possible, such as pre-calculus or calculus, and chemistry and physics. Continuing a writing and communication class along with a foreign language allows students to have the best success. If the high school you're attending offers some kind of computer programming, that too would prepare students for a real college environment. Lastly, any honors and advanced placement classes will make a big impact in the academic readiness of the student.
