Do I need to include all of my work for solving the system of equations? I did it on a separate sheet of scrap paper so if so can I just attach it with my Engineering Paper Solution?
I noticed that the diagram states that the dimensions are in meters, but the problem states that the force is in pounds. I just want to confirm that this means that we should be converting our dimensions and vectors from meters to feet so that we’re in the same unit system as lbs for our tension forces.
I’m fairly certain that it doesn’t matter whether you use meters or feet since either way you should be multiplying the tension force by unit position vector of the cables, which should be the same regardless of the measurement system.
