  1. Hi,
    I am also confused as to how we are meant to use F_ac without knowing any force components. We aren’t supposed to just write F_acx are we? Any help is appreciated.

    1. I’m using the definition of the force vector (F_AC) to be the magnitude of Tension (T_AC) times the unit vector U_AC.
      F_AC = T_AC * U_AC
      This lets me take out the T_AC “known” and simplify my other calculations. You can calculate proj_AD F_AC with (F_AC dot U_AD) times U_AD, so the T_AC constant can just be multiplied across the result.
      My final answer is just some decimals multiplied by i and j, 0 k, and the entire vector multiplied by the scalar T_AC.
      Not entirely sure if this is correct, though.
