Use the equations provided in the lecture book for these two parameters.<\/li>\n<li>Be as neat as possible in drawing your Mohr&#8217;s circle to make sure that your circle is round.<\/li>\n<li>The <em>x<\/em>-axis on Mohr&#8217;s circle corresponds to (\u03c3,\u03c4) = (\u03c3<sub>x<\/sub>,\u03c4<sub>xy<\/sub>). Recall that the positive \u03c4-axis points DOWNWARD.<\/li>\n<li>What are the two \u00a0extreme values for normal stress in your Mohr&#8217;s circle?
