In this problem, the x- and y-components of the position of the bottle are prescribed functions of time. The Cartesian components of velocity and acceleration for the bottle are found directly through the time derivatives of these prescribed functions of time.

I believe the constant h should have units of ft/s, not ft. I think this is an error in the homework. Please let me know if this is not the case. Thanks!

How might one add vectors to their sketch? Do we simply apply them to the endpoints of the sketch? I’m not sure how we could draw the vectors, as they could be applied at any point along the curve
