Conservationists and researchers encourage\u00a0any\u00a0outdoor enthusiasts\u00a0to report eastern hellbender sightings by going to <a title=\"Help the Hellbender\" href=\"https:\/\/ag.purdue.edu\/department\/extension\/hellbender\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">helpthehellbender.org\u200b<\/a> or by reporting to a conservation officer. Unfortunately, many hellbender sightings are actually mudpuppy sightings.
