The Purdue Plant Doctor<\/em> website can help you identify plants including trees. This project is a collaboration between Department of Botany and Plant Pathology and Department of Entomology. The database and processes that drive this website were written by the BoilerApps team of Purdue’s Center for Environmental and Regulatory Information Systems (CERIS).<\/p>\n

Biomass Calculator<\/a><\/h3>\n

\"Biomass<\/a>Biomass Calculator is a tool that can be used for estimating woodlands as attention increases on wood-based bioenergy for fuel. It is an extension of the Forest Inventory 2000 application, which was originally developed by Terence E. Hanley and Don Carlson, Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry, from a program by Dr. John W. Moser, Jr., Purdue University, Department of Forestry and Natural Resources (May 2000). The extension to estimate biomass and carbon content according to U.S.D.A. FIA procedures was developed by Justin Arseneault, Purdue University, Department of Forestry and Natural Resources (May 2014). Project was sponsored by SunGrant Initiative.<\/p>\n

The publication, utilizing simple methods and user-friendly language, is now a common resource for people before beginning an outdoor adventure. Beginners in the field of forestry and tree enthusiasts will particularly love the packaging of this.<\/p>\n
