Tell us about your background?
I earned my Master’s degree in biology from Ball State University, where I worked on river and stream ecology and received the 2009 Outstanding Graduate Student in Fisheries Award. I am currently working towards a PhD in aquatic community ecology.
How did you come to work in aquaculture? What do people need to know about it?
After I graduated I began working with the IISG’s research team to increase public awareness of the Michigan City nearshore buoy and help boaters, anglers, and beachgoers make use of the data. I also help coordinate research and outreach activities at Purdue.
