New Resource from the Association of American Medical Colleges

AAMC has a new resource for pre-medical students that brings together information on the MCAT, choosing schools, timelines, checklists, and funding. You can find the online source here: https://www.aamc.org/students/download/358460/data/premed.pdf.

Physician Assistant Education Association

The PAEA Program Directory, produced and maintained by the Physician Assistant Education Association, was redesigned and released in July 2013. The new program directory boasts more comprehensive information on each program and a more functional design. Go to www.pafocus.org to check it out!

Law School Exploration Course available this Fall

Summer Employment: Student Legal Services

Indiana House of Representatives Republican Internship Program

Paid internships available in Member Services, Communications, Technology and Policy Departments and provide an opportunity to be an active participant in the legislative process. Working closely with legislators will further interns interpersonal communications skills, in addition to strengthening political and administrative skills, that will benefit academic and professional growth. House Republican interns are a part of a governing body that produces laws and shapes public policy for Indiana’s 6 million residents. New Course Available for Fall

A new 1 credit course is being offered this fall called “Trademarks and Licensing Brands” The course involves the study of licensing, marketing, community relations, and sales in their application to the licensing industry. The covered topics will expose students to intellectual properties, trademark protection, royalties, licenses, selling and sales management, merchandise control (PCM), athlete relations, and opportunities to gain key networking skills. Course instructors are Abby Hawn, Trademark Licensing & Student Engagement Special-ist and David Wilson, Assistant Director Trademark and Licensing. The class will be held on Wednesdays from 9:30-10:20am in Matthews 209.
