Finding Private Scholarships

Purdue’s Division of Financial Aid strongly recommends that students visit Fastweb, scholarships.com, or finaid.org to reserach private scholarship options.

Fastweb, for example, is a nationally known scholarship company that does not charge students to provide a scholarship match service.  By entering your personal profile, Fastweb will do a search to see if you match the eligibility requirements for over 600,000 private scholarships listed in their database.  They can also send you e-mail updates with newly-found scholarship options.

No matter which site you choose, be sure to list “Purdue University” as your current school in order to be matched with private scholarships specifically for Purdue University students!

Purdue also offers departmental scholarships and specially funded scholarships.  If you have questions, contact the Division of Financial Aid on their help line at (765) 494-5050 or visit them Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in Schleman Hall, room 305.
