Purdue Day of Giving

Special Edition: Purdue Day of Giving boosts ‘Ever True’ campaign toward the finish line and a record year of private giving

Gifts came from as far away as Kazakhstan. In fact, alumni and friends from 60 countries—including eight new first-time donor countries—helped Purdue take a giant leap in fundraising to grant opportunities for the University and its students. Last Wednesday (April 24), Purdue Day of Giving raised $41.6 million for the entire Purdue system—including Purdue Fort Wayne, Purdue Northwest, and Purdue Global—and set the fifth straight record for a 24-hour higher education fundraising campaign.

Read all about it here!

This was the last Purdue Day of Giving before the June 30 finale of Ever True: The Campaign for Purdue University, the largest fundraising effort in Purdue history. This year’s incredible Day of Giving success also sets the stage for a record year of private giving, a fitting tribute as we continue the University’s yearlong sesquicentennial celebration—“150 Years of Giant Leaps”—and the 50th anniversary of the Apollo XI moon landing and alumnus Neil Armstrong’s inspirational historic statement.

As you take your own “Giant Leaps” this year, keep watching for upcoming Boilermaker Ideas Festival events, celebrations, and conversations through Purdue’s various social media channels. Visit our campaign website for the latest news, additional stories of impact, and details on how to give.

Boiler Up! Hail Purdue!

And thank you!

P.S. In a year of Giant Leaps, the Purdue community stepped up and broke every record on Purdue Day of Giving. Here's one thing we can say in response...

Thank you!
