003530-2016 - Indiana University School of Medicine West Lafayette - Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine


The Indiana University School of Medicine – West Lafayette (IUSM‐WL) on the Campus of Purdue University is searching for a 0.4 FTE, 10-month Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine positions on its teaching faculty. Successful applicants will become a Purdue University non‐tenure track faculty member. Successful applicants will be primarily responsible for serving as a Master Clinician to help teach a clinically oriented course in Fundamentals of Clinical Practice and participating in other Center teaching and administrative activities as a faculty member including, e.g., involvement in clinical skills training (history and physical exams), supervision of small group discussions and activities, and one‐on-one mentoring with individual students. The IUSM plans to implement a new systems-based curriculum to be delivered at all regional campuses in 2016.


 Candidates must possess an M.D and be board certified or board eligible in a medical specialty.
