003195-2014 - Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Drug Discovery 

Purdue University is seeking to fill multiple tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate and Full levels in the field of drug discovery.


We seek exceptional scientists in all areas related to drug discovery and development. Candidates interested in moving their discoveries into clinical trials are especially encouraged to apply. Purdue University offers a thriving interdisciplinary environment for research and education, with excellent faculty and students, as well as exceptional support services associated with drug discovery and preclinical testing. Departments involved in this search include Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Medicinal Chemistry & Molecular Pharmacology, Industrial & Physical Pharmacy, Comparative Pathobiology, Basic Medical Sciences, and Nutritional Sciences. Applicants are encouraged to indicate primary and secondary departments that they are interested in joining.


Candidates must have a doctorate degree (e.g., Ph. D., D.Sc., DVM, MD) in a scientific field related to drug discovery or development, and relevant post-doctoral experience. The successful candidate will be expected to establish and/or maintain a strong extramurally-funded research program and will participate in undergraduate, graduate and professional education/teaching as appropriate.
