003522-2016 - Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Public Health


The Public Health Graduate Program in the College of Health and Human Sciences (HHS) seeks applicants for an academic year tenure-track faculty position, beginning in the Fall of 2017. The faculty member will be expected to teach courses and conduct research in the area of health care management and policy within the context of public health.  The primary appointment will be in one of the 9 departments or schools in HHS at Purdue.  Many opportunities exist to collaborate in research, teaching and engagement with faculty members affiliated with the Public Health Graduate Program, as well as faculty within and outside HHS.


All applicants should have a PhD in public health, health care management, health policy or a related field.  The degree must be in hand by the start date. An MPH degree is desirable. A strong publication record, and either demonstrated (Associate or Full Professor) or potential (Assistant Professor) to obtain external research funding is required.  Opportunities for professional development and large-scale research collaboration exist within the Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering (http://www.purdue.edu/rche), Purdue Graduate School (www.gradschool.purdue.edu), A.H.
