The technology was originally\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: ChaparralPro-Light\">developed from the mesoscopic magnetism research conducted in the laboratory of Professor Andrew Kent.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: ChaparralPro-Light\">His research into spin transfer induced reversal of magnetization orientation showed that switching magnetic\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: ChaparralPro-Light\">orientations can be accomplished much faster than in conventional spin transfer approaches.
