ENTR Ambassador Combines Professional Development and Team Building to Prepare for his Future Career

Louisville, Kentucky native Noah Ellison is a Purdue College of Health and Human Sciences Senior majoring in Financial Counseling and Planning. Noah is also pursuing a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and serves as a student ambassador for the ENTR Certificate program. Outside of the classroom Noah is a wide receiver for the Purdue football team and volunteers when he can at the Boys and Girls Club of Lafayette.

On and off the field Noah believes teamwork is critical to success and because of the multi-disciplinary focus of the ENTR Certificate program, he feels even more prepared to work with others and collaborate effectively in his future career. “I have really enjoyed the group work and projects because we are able to establish certain roles on the team based off of our majors and it allows me to look ahead and see how I can use what I am learning now to be successful down the road.”

As a student ambassador for the program, Noah has enjoyed sharing his personal growth and experiences with prospective students. “The Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation program teaches you how to expand your mind and not be afraid to take risks. If you believe in something, go get it and don’t be afraid to hear “no” a couple of times.”

By combining an appreciation of teamwork and professional growth, Noah has prepared himself for a bright entrepreneurial future as a financial planner.
