UPDATE: March 16, 2020

Purdue President Daniels announced today that the University will be moving to remote instruction for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester. Please read President Daniels’s message here.

STARTING MARCH 23RD

ENTR instructors are working to move all materials online for after spring break.

If you have suggestions for instructional strategies you have found worked well in past online classes, please share those with us at entrcert@purdue.edu, and we will in turn share with our instructors. We want to make this transition as smooth as possible, while also providing a meaningful learning experience.

Please monitor your email and Blackboard or Brightspace for information from your instructors and/or the ENTR program.

UPDATE: March 12, 2020

Purdue Provost Jay Akridge announces a new time frame for strategic planning purposes.

  • In his message to the Purdue community, Provost Akridge reiterated President Daniels message that, “we are eager to return to the normal business of Purdue as soon as it is medically and scientifically justified.”
  • IF the university resumes face-to-face instruction it would start on Monday, April 6th and university officials will make that decision no later than Monday, March 30th.
  • From Provost Akridge’s message “To be clear, by March 30, we will either commit to remote instruction for the rest of the semester, or we will resume face-to-face instruction on April 6.  We are hopeful this date is helpful for your planning purposes.”

March 11, 2020

Dear Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Students:

As you know, President Daniels announced this week that ALL classes beginning after spring break will be held online until further notice. Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation instructors are currently working on how to redesign your courses for the rest of the semester and will have more information for you when you return from break. Please watch your email and pay close attention to notifications that you receive through Blackboard or Brightspace.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

  • All students will take their courses online starting March 23 until further notice
  • Campus will remain open (staff and research activities will continue)
  • Students living in residence halls have the option to return to campus or not
  • The assignment schedule will remain the same, unless otherwise notified

ONLINE ACCESS

It is important that you notify your instructor immediately if you anticipate having issues with online access. Students in areas with limited Internet access should contact the Office of the Dean of Students at 765-494-1747 or odos@purdue.edu.
