Kurt Lanzone from Purdue Extension is not only the Parke County Ag and Natural Resources Educator, but also an Indiana Certified Fire Instructor II\/III.&nbsp; With experience on the farm, and in the fire service he will bring this series aimed at helping to better prepare your first responders for on farm incidents.&nbsp; It has been noticed in the past many of our rural first responders came to us naturally with an agriculture background, and now that number of personnel appears to be declining.&nbsp;&nbsp; This program is aimed at giving overviews of hazards, scenarios, and tools that can be utilized to help your department be better prepared for Emergencies on the Farm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will start our first session on Thursday June 3<sup>rd<\/sup> at 7pm.\u00a0 It will continue every Thursday in June covering topics from Pre-Incident Planning, Haz-Mat Concerns, Animal Hazards, Equipment Hazards, Grain Storage Hazards, and even Fire Response and Fire Flows.\u00a0 The webinar series is free of charge.
