I am pleased to announce that Kristi Mickle has been named Senior Director, Business Management, and that Kathy Thomason has been named Senior Director, Comptroller.  Both of these appointments are effective June 1, 2017.

For the past several months, both have held similar roles in interim capacities, with Kristi serving as Interim Director of Business Management and Kathy serving as Interim Comptroller.

Throughout her 22-year career at Purdue, Kristi has served with distinction in the business management organization.  During this time, she has served at every level of the Business Management organization, including her current stint managing the President’s, Treasurer’s and Vice President for Public Affairs’ business offices.  In addition, she served as the Endowment and Investment Accountant within the Comptroller organization.

Kathy has been serving as Assistant Comptroller of Accounting and Reporting Services at Purdue for the last three and a half years.  Prior to joining Purdue, Kathy was in public accounting with Geo. S. Olive & Co. for 18 years, followed by 13 years as CFO for a Northwest Indiana Radiology practice.  Kathy is a member of the AICPA and Indiana CPA Society.
