Re:       West Lafayette FY18 Repair & Rehabilitation Matching Funds Program

I am pleased to announce that Physical Facilities is offering the Repair & Rehabilitation (R&R) Matching Funds Program for FY18 to academic areas at the West Lafayette campus. We’ve designed the R&R Matching Funds Program to support projects that academic units have identified as high priorities.

Through this program, and with your help, we will advance strategically-important projects. For FY18, available university matching funds will be limited to a maximum of $250,000 per project in order to facilitate the successful completion of selected projects during the fiscal year.

The FY18 program will follow a similar set of guidelines as in years past. For approved projects, funding will be made available after July 1, 2017 with project construction estimated to begin in the summer of 2018 in most cases.

To qualify for the R&R Matching Funds Program, colleges and academic vice presidential/provost areas must prioritize projects, identify available funds, obtain new project estimates and submit their R&R Matching Funds Applications to Keith Moore, R&R manager, at for consideration on or before January 3, 2017. In order to obtain the new project estimates required by the process, applicants must complete a Request for Professional Services (RPS) form for each project. RPSs should be submitted as soon as possible to allow time for the completion and return of project estimates as colleges will need this information to complete the R&R Matching Funds Applications.
