Re:           Wage scale adjustment


I am pleased to announce that the University’s proposed wage scale adjustments for clerical and service staff were endorsed by the Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees this afternoon.  The proposal will be finalized at the May 27 Board of Trustees meeting and become effective June 29, 2015. Current and proposed wage scales can be found at Communication to supervisors will begin later this afternoon.

The proposed adjustments will affect approximately 600 employees and will be made prior to merit salary increases being applied.

The adjustments were proposed in order to reflect current market conditions and keep the University competitive in the market.
