Re: Review of health resources on West Lafayette campus
Human Resources and Student Life have joined together to implement a comprehensive review of health resources on the West Lafayette campus with the goals of improving the health of the campus community and making campus health care offerings more efficient, effective and user-friendly for students, faculty and staff.
Over the next few weeks, we will be communicating about a study of the facilities, services and user experience of both the Center for Healthy Living (CHL) and the Purdue University Student Health Center (PUSH). The study will be conducted throughout the fall semester by outside consultant LHD Benefit Advisors through site visits, data analysis and staff and user feedback.
We believe this review is in the best interest of the entire campus community and is responsive to stated student and employee suggestions and concerns regarding accessibility and quality of care and services on the West Lafayette campus.
Our intent is to communicate throughout the study process and to involve as many stakeholders as we can. A website is in development and a feedback email is offered at firstname.lastname@example.org, where faculty, staff and students can receive answers to any questions or concerns.
Staff members at PUSH and CHL have been notified of the upcoming review. An article in Purdue Today will be issued tomorrow (Aug. 26).
We encourage all faculty, staff and students to learn about and take part in this important review of our health resources.
