RE:         Interim Vice Provost for Undergraduate Academic Affairs


Effective immediately, Dr. Frank J. Dooley will take on the responsibilities of interim vice provost for undergraduate academic affairs following the July 31 departure of Dr. Dale Whittaker and until a search committee identifies a permanent successor.

Frank has worked closely with many of you, and I know his experience and his knowledge of our excellent academic programs will help ensure a smooth transition at this critical time.

In this position, Frank will report directly to me and will provide leadership for undergraduate education, admissions, enrollment management, academic planning, program evaluation, and general academic policy development and implementation. He will also maintain responsibility for specific academic programs, review academic budgets and serve as a liaison between colleges for curricular changes impacting multiple colleges.

Please help me welcome Frank to his new role. I know we all are looking forward to working closely with him over the next several months.
