The Purdue University Police Department offers a free fingerprinting service to help community members meet requests for background or security, military, VISAs and specialized licenses. All that is needed is an official photo ID and any fingerprinting cards that have been received.
The service is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Persons wishing to take advantage of this service are encouraged to call PUPD Headquarters first at 765-494-8221, to ensure proper staffing permits fingerprinting.
PUPD only offers inked fingerprints, NOT DIGITAL.
Also PUPD does not conduct fingerprinting for gun permits, as those are required to be submitted digitally to the State of Indiana.
