The Purdue Student Security Patrol is a group of specially selected and trained students who offer evening safe walks to students and staff and who also provide extra observation in parking garages and other areas of the Purdue Campus.
While on duty, student patrol members carry two-way radios to report vandalism or suspicious activities to the police. Patrol positions are paid, and working hours span 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.
