I2D Expo

I2D Expo Friday, March 30 2:30 PM-5:00 PM

Purdue Global Engineering’s Innovation for International Development (I2D) Lab holds an exposition each year at the end of March in celebration of the accomplishments that Purdue engineering students and faculty have made in partnering for solutions to international development challenges, and to inspire greater participation at Purdue.

The I2D Lab Exposition features four speakers, representing a spectrum of international development actors, from academia, government, NGOs, and business, as well as Purdue faculty and invited guests. Thus far, for the 2018 Expo, Calestous Juma, Professor of the Practice of International Development and Director of the Science, Technology, Globalization, Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, Harvard University; and Maurizio Vecchione, Executive Vice President (Global Good) and Research (Intellectual Ventures) have accepted our invitation to speak.

The Expo also provides an opportunity for Purdue engineering faculty to present their innovations, and to receive feedback from global experts.
