The course will primarily be a mixture of lecture and roundtable research article discussions focused on the neural systems and behavioral plasticity involved in learning and memory. The course is designed to familiarize students with (i) the historical background of learning and memory, (ii) experimental methods used in memory research, and (iii) physiological mechanisms of learning and memory processes.
