About the Center for the Environment

The Center for the Environment (C4E) draws its strength from the faculty members and students across Purdue who have a demonstrated, major, professional commitment to research and education on environmental challenges and solutions. This community of researchers represents a diversity of disciplines in the natural and physical sciences, engineering and applied science, public health, communication, economics, and related areas. By supporting and connecting individuals from these different disciplines, the Center seeks to enhance the impact of Purdue’s interdisciplinary environmental programs, projects, and initiatives.
