Yu Han-Hallett

Metabolomics Research Scientist
Email: hany@purdue.edu

Yu Han-Hallett received a M.S. in Biochemistry from Purdue University, where she identified an Arabidopsis mutant defective in the gene catalyzing indole glucosinolate biosynthesis and analyzed the function of this gene on sinapate ester, glucosinolate and lignin composition using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). She has great hands-on skills working with plant tissues, mammalian cell culture, and cell based compound screening assays. In 2018, she joined the Metabolite Profiling Facility, where she works with Dr. Cooper and Amber Jannasch on projects involving quantitation of targeted analytes and metabolite profiling of non-targeted analytes in biological matrix.
