Purdue Extension offers professional development trainings for agriculture professionals and organic farmers at all levels of expertise - including those considering a transition to organic grain production. We focus on the practical expertise to develop yourself and your organization by covering leadership, time management, ethics, and other aspects of organic business and production.
Need a training solution? We can also create custom experiences for your operation, staff, and much more. When it comes to organic agriculture, it's important to cover the basics and build a good foundation. And it's just as important to add professional development trainings tailored and customized to your operations's unique needs. By giving yourself and your staff the skills, knowledge, and tools you need to feel and perform successfully, we can all help achieve your goals.

2018 Indiana Organic Agriculture Professional Development Training
In September 2018, Purdue Extension-Organic Agriculture offered two professional development trainings for Indiana Conservation Partnership staff to learn about organic agriculture, certification, transition, production and markets. We captured video of several presentations and an industry panel discussion during the training on September 13, 2018 in Huntington, Indiana.
This work was supported with funding from the Indiana Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) Professional Development program.
