Dr. Rhonda Phillips

Rhonda Phillips is a professor in the Agricultural Economics Department and Dean of the Honors College at Purdue University. Rhonda grew up on a large, diversified farm in the Deep South, operated a dairy farm while in college and has a mini farm in West Lafayette. Prior to Purdue, Rhonda served as a faculty member in the School of Community Resources and Development, a Senior Sustainability Scientist at Arizona State University. She holds a professional certification in urban and regional planning from the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and is the author of several books on community development, including Sustainable Communities, Creating a Durable Local Economy and the textbook, Introduction to Community Development.
