Our vision is to be at the forefront of advancing data science-enabled research and education by tightly coupling theory, discovery, and applications while providing students with an integrated, data science-fluent campus ecosystem.

Development of the Integrative Data Science Initiative

In light of the growing demand for broadly trained data scientists, Purdue University convened two nine-member Working Groups dedicated to research and education. The groups hosted four campus-wide forums, with approximately 180 total attendees.
