Yuting Wang is currently Visiting Scholar in the Department of Ethnic Studies at the University California-Berkeley and Associate Professor of Sociology at the American University of Sharjah, UAE. Her research mainly focuses on the experiences of Muslim minorities in the United States and China. She is the author of Between Islam and the American Dream: An Immigrant Muslim Community in Post-9/11 America (Routledge, 2014). She has also published a number of articles and commentaries on Chinese Muslims and social changes in the UAE.
