Inspired Giving: Alan and Gail Beck

Friday, July 27, 2018

Alan and Gail Beck are inspired by innovative performances.

Alan and Gail Beck have been staunch supporters of Purdue Convocations for the past 20 years. Their generous donations benefit the Innovative Performance Fund, which brings experimental performances and unique artists to the stage – such as Shimon, the marimba-playing robot, in 2017.

Alan and Gail were inspired to give to this fund after seeing such immersive shows as 2012’s The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart, which transported audience members to a Scottish pub, as well as unique theatricals such as The Cardinals by Stan’s Cafe and No Place To Go by Ethan Lipton and His Orchestra.
