We are so thankful for the Friends of Convocations and Corporate Partners that support our amazing student outreach activities! Their generous gifts allow us to provide memorable and meaningful experiences to thousands of students each year.

Our generous supporters fund the arts in area schools

  • 6 weekday student matinees on the Purdue campus and 19 off-campus performances and artist residencies in area schools
  • Over 8,600 students attended
  • 2,253 scholarships provided
  • $16,043 in ticket scholarships and transportation scholarships was distributed thanks to generous individual donors and corporations.
  • Teacher Group Orders subsidized for as little as $10 per ticket.

President and Vice President of Convocations Volunteer Network: Evan Bishop and Trey TemplinWe’d also like to give thanks to our student organizations for all their hard work throughout the year.  Although many of their efforts may occur behind the scenes, they remain a vital part of what makes Convocations great!

  • Student Concert Committee: 16 student members that have been selected through an application and interview process to advise Purdue Convocations about popular entertainment selections for Purdue students on the West Lafayette campus.
  • TEDxPurdueU: an independently organized TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) event, uses storytelling to nurture a culture of innovation through sharing ideas developed by Purdue students, faculty, alumni, and community members with the global TED community.
  • Convocations Volunteer Network:  a student group that helps support and promote Convocations performing arts events
