Protect Purdue Policies
Masks are now OPTIONAL at events (updated March 21, 2022)
Effective March 21, 2022, any performances hosted by Purdue Convocations or the Student Concert Committee, regardless of location, will now follow “mask optional” guidance.
Protect Purdue is the University’s comprehensive plan to keep our campus and our community safe by limiting the spread of COVID-19. Representing the measures approved by the Board of Trustees to date, the Protect Purdue Plan will continue to evolve, driven by the latest science surrounding COVID-19 and the collective efforts of hundreds.
Here you will find important information about how Purdue Convocations is creating a safe, enjoyable environment for the performing arts at Purdue. As this environment is ever-evolving, please check Protect Purdue, our events pages, and our social media channels for the most up-to-date information before you join us for our events.
All audiences are welcome to attend our outdoor performances. Guidance regarding campus visitors, social distancing, mask protocols and/or other requirements will be dictated by Protect Purdue policies in effect at the time of the event. We will endeavor to make all of our performances physically accessible, but not every location is equally equipped with dropped curbs, free-rolling surfaces or level grades, including Slayter Center for Choir! Choir! Choir!. Hearing loops are not available at any of the outdoor spaces. Most performances are events on a fixed stage; however, Mucca Pazza is designed to be ambulatory, possibly even during the event. Global Fest, designed as a street festival, will not have extensive seating available, especially as the event progresses into the more danceable portions of the evening. Please always refer to Protect Purdue, our events pages, and our social media channels for the most up-to-date information before you join us for our events.
