Alton Brown—that impish icon of contemporary culinary culture—serves up a family-friendly evening of comedy, cooking, chemistry, and more with Alton Brown Live: Eat Your Science. Following an acclaimed Broadway run and Brown’s Edible Inevitable stage production, Eat Your Science promises more of what TV would never allow him to do. That means more “therapy-inducing” audience interaction, larger puppets, and bigger, better, “more potentially dangerous” experiments. (Don’t worry. He’s ready for cleanup just in case things get messy…again.)

For nearly two decades, Brown has been a fixture in American food culture as a TV personality and author. Dissatisfied with the quality of televised cooking shows in the late 1990s, Brown enrolled in the New England Culinary Institute and set out to produce his own. Ever since, he has creatively tinkered with gastronomic processes across 14 seasons of the Peabody Award-winning Food Network series Good Eats, gleefully toyed with contestants as the “evilicious” host of Cutthroat Kitchen, and authored such books as the James Beard Award-winning I’m Just Here for the Food.

Fast-paced, funny, and fiendishly inventive, Eat Your Science again proves that Alton Brown is “a know-it-all who just might know it all” (The New York Times).
