About the organization

Purdue Convocations is a multi-disciplinary performing arts presenting organization based at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. For more than a century, Convocations has served the region as a presenter of world-class, national and international artists across the performing arts and entertainment spectrum, with over 30 productions each academic year in multiple campus and community venues ranging from 140-6,000 seats. As a presenter at an institution of higher education, Convocations has a strong tradition of curricular engagement as it connects visiting artists with classroom discourse in both the pre-school to grade 12 and collegiate communities. Executive and Operations Assistant for Purdue Convocations

As the Executive and Operations Assistant for Purdue Convocations, you will provide a wide range of administrative support for the Assistant Vice Provost, Student Life/Executive Director, Purdue Convocations and Hall of Music Productions. This role will maximize the effectiveness of department operational processes and communications, as well as serve as a liaison with multiple contacts internal and external to the university. The Assistant will manage the day-to-day operational needs of the Convocations office, facilitate communication, provide programming support, plan events, draft and edit various documents, schedule meetings and manage executive’s calendar. In this role, you will coordinate special projects involving independent research and work with all levels of internal management and staff.
