Manager of Engagement

As the Manager of Engagement for Convocations, you will be serving as the manager of departmental relationships, events, and communications for constituencies in the Purdue Convocations sphere. Additionally, you will manage day-to-day functions, service, and implementation of relationship delivery systems for the department. This role serves as the primary departmental contact with key strategic partners.

Brand Ambassador

The primary role of the Senior Brand Ambassador Intern is to serve as a dynamic representative of the Purdue Convocations brand to Purdue campus and Greater Lafayette communities and serve as a marketing liaison between the marketing team and the three student organizations: Convocations Volunteer Network, Student Concert Committee, and TEDxPurdueU. The goal of this position is to give students valuable real-world experience in a professional performing arts marketing environment. The Senior Brand Ambassador position should work 20 hours per week during the current semester. Those hours may be worked in any combination, at the discretion of the direct supervisor. The Senior Brand Ambassador Intern must be reliable, organized, responsible, and flexible. They must also be ambitious, detail-oriented, creative, and driven.

Purdue Convocations is a multi-disciplinary performing arts presenting organization based at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. For more than a century, Convos has served the region as a presenter of world-class, national and international artists across the performing arts and entertainment spectrum, with over 30 productions each academic year in multiple campus and community venues ranging from 140-6,000 seats.
