Training and Education at PCCR
Over 400 graduate students and postdocs are currently working in laboratories affiliated with Purdue Center for Cancer Research (PCCR). These trainees are engaged in cutting-edge research in diverse research fields including cell identity, signaling pathways and drug discovery.
The goals of training and education at PCCR are to provide outstanding cancer research training opportunities to our students and postdocs, to promote their success while they are working here, and to facilitate their successful transition to future careers. PCCR offers a spectrum of training programs to our graduate students and postdocs, as well as summer research programs to undergraduate students. In addition to the workshops offered by the Graduate School and the Office of Postdoctoral Studies, PCCR sponsors its own monthly career development series with topics covering grant application/writing, communication skills, and cancer research-related career tracks.
