The monthly CRN Connect newsletter started in fall 2021 as a platform to recognize the achievements, share accomplishments, and even build a community of scholars. It is important to take some time from your busy lives to celebrate successes. As noted by Provost Jay Akridge in his piece, in the inaugural issue, “by connecting assistant and associate professors with caring, accomplished full professors in another unit, a mentee-mentor relationship can develop unencumbered by some of the processes and dynamics present in a Department.”
