Instructor-Led ‘Travel Basic Skills’ Course Available for Registration - 04/1/10

The instructor-led “BTRVL100 – Travel Basic Skills” training has opened for online self-registration.

The class is scheduled for 8:15 a.m. to noon, Thursday, April 15 in Freehafer 1-2.

BTRVL100 course content covers the basic skills any University employee would need to know when traveling on University business – both domestic and foreign.

The instructor will touch on information that includes: approval processes, reimbursement, transportation regulations, lodging, subsistence, registrations, required receipts, discounts and online tools. The transportation discussion will include how to rent a University vehicle. Note that this training is not about the new OnePurdue travel system.

Online self-enrollment for BTRVL100 is available through PREMIS to staff members who log in with their Purdue Career Account and password. After logging into the self-enrollment site, registrants must click “Business Systems,” then “Travel.” Click “BTRVL100 – Travel Basic Skills” and follow the instructions.
