‘SRM for Requisitioners’ Available for Registration - 09/14/10

Registration for the September offering of “SRM 250 – SRM for Requisitioners” is still available.

The course will be presented in two parts – 1:30-5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28 and 1:30-5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30 – and will meet in the Business Services Training Room on the first floor of Freehafer. Attendance at both sessions is required. Angela Paxton is the instructor.

The course will provide hands-on instruction for creating specific types of shopping carts, which include: University Stores, Printing Services and Describe Requirement. It also will include BOILERMART, the new portal to showcase suppliers and other University suppliers’ catalogs. BOILERMART is the replacement for ePlus.

Participants are asked to bring their own copies of the course materials, downloadable on the Supply Chain Purchasing (SRM) page of the Business Services Training and Communications (BSTC) website.

To ensure their space in the class, attendees must self-register through PREMIS with their Purdue career account and password. To access “SRM 250 – SRM for Requisitioners” after logging in, click “Business Systems,” then “Supply Chain Purchasing (SRM).”

Participants must have completed the prerequisites, “SRMAP 101 – Buying Goods and Services at Purdue University” and “SRM 201 – Create a Shopping Cart.” Registration for both of these self-directed, online Blackboard courses also is provided through PREMIS.
