Registration Open for August Offering of Travel Basic Skills - 07/14/11

The next offering of the instructor-led “BTRVL 100–Travel Basic Skills” training is available for online self-registration. The class is scheduled for 1:15-5 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 17 in Freehafer 2-1.

“BTRVL 100” covers the basic skills any Purdue employee would need when traveling on University business — both domestic and foreign. The instructor touches on approval processes, reimbursement, transportation regulations, lodging, subsistence, registrations, required receipts, discounts and online tools. The transportation information includes how to rent a University vehicle. Please note that this training is not about the new OnePurdue travel system. Linda Ford, travel administrator, Accounts Payable and Travel, is the instructor.
