Registration for ‘Intro to Continuous Leave Action’ Training Is Open - 04/6/10

“HRBN200—Introduction to Continuous Leave Action” — a new course for time administrators, supervisors, leave approvers and payroll mentors — has opened for self-registration. The class is scheduled for 3-5 p.m. Tuesday, April 20 in the ITaP Training Room, located on the second floor of Freehafer.

This course will cover filling out leave action forms and locating available help resources. By the end of the course, participants will:
     • Distinguish between intermittent and continuous leave
     • Fill out the Leave Action and Request and Leave Action forms correctly
     • Determine who to call for assistance with difficult or complicated cases
     • Identify available resources

Cindy Stephens, appointment specialist for Human Resource Services, will be the instructor.

Online self-enrollment for “HRBN200—Introduction to Continuous Leave Action” is available through PREMIS with participants’ Purdue career account and password. To access the course after logging in, click “Business Systems,” then “Human Resources” for a list of classes. Click “HRBN200” to complete enrollment.
