E-commerce and Credit Card Operations Move to Treasury Operations - 04/29/10

E-commerce and Credit Card Operations (ECCO) recently divided its responsibilities, and two staff members have transferred from Accounting Services to the Office of Treasury Operations.

Debbie Wert and Amanda Goodnight are now part of Treasury Operations and continue responsibility for payment card acceptance, working with IT and departments/schools for compliance with Payment Card Industry Security Standards (PCI DSS) and commerce.

Maura Kennedy and Karen Reese remain in Accounting Services and assume responsibility for P-card activity. The email and phone contact information for each one remains unchanged.

Reconciliation of the payment card transactions via ReconNet and subsequent posting to the general ledger will stay in the Comptroller’s area, as do purchasing card (also known as P-card or commercial card) responsibilities.

The email address has been retired. Instead, staff may direct their email to these addresses:
     -- for questions and issues regarding Purchasing cards
     -- for questions and issues regarding ReconNet
     -- about payment card compliance (PCI DSS), how to establish a new merchant location, e-commence or Web applications, or any other question regarding the acceptance and processing of payment cards
