are more energy efficient, but also trap a mix of airborne contaminants that results in complaints of poor indoor air quality.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: As air flows through the growth media, microbes in the root zone of the plants metabolize VOCs.
