As the Community Coordinator for the Bechtel Center, Nathan is responsible for managing the student interaction with the facility and its full time and student employees. He is also the party primarily responsible for driving and tracking student project work as well as all related data gathering. Nathan serves as the go-to contact point for project design and review and is responsible for determining final project approval status.
Prior to working in the center, Nathan was the project manager for the Artisan Fabrication Lab in the Armstrong building working in a similar but smaller capacity. Nathan works to drive the continued growth of the project driven goals of the Bechtel Center. He is committed to expanding a data-driven approach to fostering a productive learning environment with a focus on universal accessibility and efficient use of student time as well as university and employee resources.
Nathan earned his B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science at the University of Vermont. During and immediately after earning his degree he maintained a US Senate Associate Internship with the office of the Honorable Max Baucus of Montana. This experience was segued to a position in a non-profit industry association managing education programs, fundraising initiatives and membership outreach.
