Summary
In response to Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb’s executive order and specific guidance from Purdue the center is closed until further notice due to COVID-19.

- Allowing anyone to access the facility without explicit permission is forbidden
Purdue Students / General Public: Closed
Effective Friday 20th at 5pm, the center is closed to Purdue students, and to tours of campus facilities to the general public. The center is closed as study space.
- Materials left in the Bechtel Center will be safe and undisturbed during this closure
- If you need access to collect materials please email bechtelidc@purdue.edu to make arrangements. Please only use this for urgent needs to avoid infection risks
Undergraduate Employees of the Bechtel Center: Closed
- No access to the center is permitted
- Any employee who wishes to work remotely will be accommodated, contact center staff for accommodation
Graduate Employees of the Bechtel Center: Closed
- Do not come to the center by default – you must have an essential need defined as per executive order (ref. Purdue guidance on essential)
- Any employee who wishes to work remotely will be accommodated, contact center staff for accommodation
- Any employee who wishes to take vacation time will be accommodated
