Exploring the Artistic styles of Haiti. Works curated by Lee Rainboth, Jacmel Arts Center Director. This exhibition showcases a collection of Haitian art from 6 artists in residence at the Jacmel Arts Center located in Jacmel Haiti.

A conversation that examines the ways our patriarchal culture informs sexual misconduct like date rape, demeaning portrayals of women in pop culture, the gender pay gap, the underrepresentation of women in leadership positions and more. The interactive town hall discussion panel of experts featuring Darnell L. Moore author of No Ashes in the Fire, Jessica Care moore, founder of Black WOMEN Rock! and Duke University professor Mark Anthony Neal.
Black American Voices: Featuring the Zamora Collection
Featuring the Antonio and Betty Zamora Collection of African Art in juxtaposition to photographs if Black America in a narrative that is the result of conversations and interviews, that Joe Barry Carroll has with family and friends.
My View From Seven Feet: Paintings by Joe Barry Carroll
Carroll uses paintings to tell stories. These stories have explored the people who have guided him, the places he has encountered, his experiences growing up in the American South and his travels during his professional career with the NBA.

Thriving Thursday Showcase
Queeribean is an emerging theory in the field of Queer and Ethnic Studies that explores the lives of LGBTQIA and Caribbean people. The portmanteau serves as both personal identity marker and descriptor of the places as both personal and descriptor of the places and spaces inhabited by LGBTQIA and Caribbean. You will be introduced to the islands, religions and social construction. In partnership with Purdue Black Cultural Center, the Purdue Student Union Board, the Purdue LGBTQ Center and the Purdue Caribbean Student Association. Free and open to the public

He earned his BA from Indiana University and an MFA from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Matejka is the recipient of fellowships the Guggenheim Foundation and the Lannan Foundation. Harlem 100
Created in collaboration with the National Jazz Museum in Harlem, this multimedia show captures the sights and sounds of Harlem when legendary artists such as Fats Waller, Duke Ellington, Langston Hughes and Billy Holiday made Harlem the cultural center of the country. It calls on mystics, contemplative, faith leaders and activists to share best practices for peace in the world.
